One of the top reasons why New Year’s resolutions fail is because they’re too broad and do not have a plan of action. Simply saying “I’m going to eat healthier” is not enough. There must be a course of action. Trying to take on everything yourself from meal planning to shopping, cooking and clean-up can be quite exhausting and overwhelming, especially if you’re not a professional chef.
Since, becoming a Personal Chef and establishing Simple 2 Elegant Personal Chef Service in 2018 I have adopted the same healthy meal options that I provide to my regular clients. After more than 20 years as a type 2 diabetic, I managed to reverse my diabetes and high blood pressure. I am no longer taking medications to treat those medical conditions. As of January 2020, I have lost 55 pounds, since April 2019 by reducing my carbohydrates, processed sugars, gluten, hydrogenated fats and oils and instead switching healthy oils, lean poultry and fish high in Omega 3 fatty acids, while limiting red meats and pork.
My clients find that they save anywhere from 10-15 hours per week using my personal chef services and find they’re able to stick to their diet. Being consistent with a healthy meal plan leaves them feeling happier and with more energy. They’re able to be more productive and achieve better results at work and in their personal life.
