Meet the Chef
My name is Chef Jeffrey Martinez, and I am a classically trained Chef. I am from San Antonio, Texas, and I have lived in many places throughout the United States. My father is a retired army officer and Vietnam veteran, and we moved many times throughout his career.
I graduated from the American Culinary Federation Apprenticeship Program in 1996. I spent 15 years at the Pinehurst Golf Resort and Country Club, an AAA Four Diamond property, and have worked several PGA golf championships, including the 1999 PGA US Open. I have also worked in other renowned Golf and Ski Resorts around the country, including the Balsams Grand Ski Resort in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, Barton Creek Golf Resort in Austin, Texas, and The Homestead Resort and Country Club in Hot Springs, West Virginia.
From a very early age, learning how to cook from scratch with my mother, I have always had a passion for the culinary arts. After leaving the corporate world, I started my own catering business, and since 2018, I have been a personal chef providing many services, including menu consultation, grocery shopping, weekly meal prep, dinner parties, cooking classes, and corporate retreats.
I am Servsafe Certified, and I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19. I look forward to serving your family, guests, and friends! Let's get cooking and eating!

"Chef Jeffrey and Sherri cooked for our golf group of 12 guys last night at the McLemore Club on Lookout Mountain and absolutely killed it! We had a buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer followed by a shrimp corn chowder that was delicious… We then had a wedge salad and a perfectly cooked steak which was out of this world as well! Desert came last and also was incredible. After dinner, Jeffrey and Sherri cleaned the kitchen spotless which made it very easy on us to get out of town this morning. Excellent experience with very nice/fun professional chef! Highly recommended!!!"
